Aging & Welfare Policies

Extensive welfare policies will be implemented to benefit a wider range of citizens. Current assistance programs like ComCare generally benefit low-earning sole breadwinners, with the cut-off at under $1900 a month. We would introduce intermediate subsidy schemes to help the sandwiched groups that barely fall short of the current income cut-offs.

On top of the current elderly-friendly upgrade works introduced by HDB, we will be introducing more structural change in communities and within households to assist the elderly in their everyday lives.
